My name is Kathrine Hillson, I help Auckland locals with everything from building confidence and self esteem to helping you map out your options for making a living. Whatever you need, I help you discover your true potential as you move from where you are now, into a happier future.

About Me
For the majority of my working life I had built a successful career in helping people to adopt and embrace change, working for large corporates and well-known charities both in New Zealand and abroad.
Eventually however, I decided to pack up everything I had learned about people and change, and use it to help individuals without the backing of a big company and launched First Step.

When I'm not helping people with change I'm quite a social creature. I also like to keep fit, travel as much as possible, go to concerts as often as I can, paddleboard, laugh and read. I donate to charities such as Unicef, SPCA, Humane Society, Child Cancer, Parkinson's NZ and the Mental Health Foundation NZ. I have worked as a volunteer for Terrence Higgins Trust (London), Children In Crisis (Nepal), Habitat for Humanity (India) as well as some wildlife rehabilitation (big cats and baboons in Namibia, Africa). I have also established a successful wine education/corporate entertainment company and an interior styling business.
